Old Rooster Antique Mall

Our tale begins, as all tales do, many years ago in a land far, far away, otherwise known as Wisconsin.  Granny's mom gave her a pressed back chair and weeks later, Granny and The Old Rooster spotted another chair "just like" the one at home.  Granny bought that chair and arriving home discovered that chair was a little differant than the first one.  Thus began a long period of spoting a chair that looked like the first one and if not, than certainly like the second.....or third....or forth.....you get the idea.  During this period they found they also had a fondness for other articles of earlier periods, such as glass, clocks, lamps, jewelry, more furniture, ect.  After their collecting got to much for their home, they opened an antique store.  In 1986, Granny and The Old Rooster moved their business to Rochester, and joined forces with a number of other successful antique dealers.  That marked the beginning of The Old Rooster Antique Mall.  The Old Rooster's original location was at the old Eagle Drug corner on broadway a half a block south of Micheals Supper Club.  A number of years later, with the building of The Galleria, Granny, The Rooster,and all their dealers, not being people to stand in the way of progress, moved their business three blocks north and accross broadway to its present location.  Here today, The Old Rooster stands guard, outside in the stores entryway and marks a begining of an unusual trip down memory lane.  Granny, The Old Rooster, and the other nine dealers work hard locating, purchasing and showing many articles from your past that may be purchased for nostalgia or an investment in someone's future.  The store is open 7 days a week and from the time you enter, you will be treated to courteous customer service and friendly conversation.  And finally I might add, Granny, The Old Rooster, and all their customers lived happily ever after.
