“wacky water tower!”
This giant ear of corn is a functioning water tower, holding 50,000 gallons and measuring 60 feet high. It was constructed in 1931, and stands adjacent to the Seneca Foods Plant. Another large plastic ear of corn in a neighboring Minnesotan town rivals the Corn Water Tower for the title of World's Largest Ear of Corn.
Fun quick stop!
It was kind of corny (pun intended)
Its so cute ~ & it is near the fair grounds & close to a Dairy Queen but if your stopping here ~ midas well travel down hwy 14 a few miles and stretch your legs at quarry hill too
Great stop. We didn't head all the way to it but instead stopped in a parking lot for a selfie and stretch our legs on the way to the Mall of America. Great photo op.
One of the crown jewels of Rochester, Minnesota
Not worth the loss of driving time. Couldn't get close to it, it is in an industrial area.
1217 3rd Ave SE. The address listed in details took us to a residential neighborhood. This is located at the Seneca aka Libby's canning facility.
It is exactly what it says it is. Nice photo op, but it's surrounded by an industrial looking building.
We took a five minute detour off the highway only to find nothing there.
