Holiday Inn Express & Suites Roanoke - Civic Center , an IHG hotel

We stayed at this hotel while traveling to SC. Today is it’s one year anniversary of being open. It still has that brand new smell. The rooms were clean. The water pressure in the shower was great. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are mounted on the shower wall. We forgot our toothbrushes at home and we were able to have some brought to our room. Since the beginning of Covid we have not seen a hotel offering hot breakfast and this was a pleasant surprise. They even have a neat pancake making machine that entertained my teenage boys.

This hotel is going to be where we stay on our future trips up and down the east coast.
