“Try a battleship: restaurant in Richmond, VA”
This laid-back but tiny local gem has amazing breakfast and dinner (and dessert- peanut-butter pie, anyone?) Their huge and creative "battleship" sandwiches (called that because they're named after various US battleships) are a must-try for the hungry and adventurous eater! Featured on Best Sandwich in America!
This restaurant closed last year.
The themed names of the sandwiches are adorable. I'd definitely consider sharing one sub because they're HUGE-- or taking the other half home for another meal. The Pork Ponchatrain is also a good option. And consider the Banana Pudding too- classic Southern food.
Worth every penny. Go for breakfast.
Perfect lunch stop right off of I-95 south. Had amazing sandwiches and a cool Atmosphere. I'd definitely stop again and recommend it to anyone passing thru!
