Three quarters of the campground appear to house seasonal campers in travel trailers, and there is one row for 'pull thrus'. We were put in this row because of the size of our 5th wheel. It was literally 3 feet from the fence line and the park being on a busy secondary county road, the was no peace and quiet. It appears to be a main thoroughfare for 18 wheelers and there must be a Dump Truck company up the road as there are 5-6 trucks per hour passing by every week day. We are close enough that the wind between the vehicles and our 5'er push the trailer when they go by.
That being said, the facility is privately owned and they do keep it up. We did not use the showers (not air conditioned) nor the laundry facility (2 washers, 2 dryers). The pool was heated by an outside wood burner-fed boiler, so when it was going, you may get a whiff of smoke if the breeze was just right.
There are also a fair amount of gnats here. We had to set traps to keep them at bay in the trailer.
We stayed because we were visiting family, and in truthfulness, it's okay for an overnight stop, if you wear earplugs, like we did.

Campground was well maintained, but was mostly filled with seasonal campers. We were there for ten nights and were squeezed in on a corner site. Traffic coming very close to back of fifth wheel. Good for walking our dogs when seasonal campers weren’t there letting their dogs roam free. Seasonal campers had all the sites on river. Owners were nice, laundry was fine for us. But we prefer a little more room. Was kinda noisy off major highway.

We were stopping for the night, but would have enjoyed staying a couple days.
This was an overnight stop while driving to our final destination. We called at the last minute, on Memorial Day weekend and they were able to accommodate us for the night (not a 3 night minimum).
It's about 2 miles off the interstate, so it was close but far enough to be quiet.
The site was level, with a nice grass area for the dogs. Our site had water, electric & cable that was conveniently located for hook-up.
Everything you could want or need was convenient in an open, friendly environment. The arcade, pool, playground and public areas lend to interacting with others and enjoying the outdoors. Our 5-star rating is in the context of Grandpa's delivering on what they are and the price. They're not a "resort" or "destination". But, it's a great camp and well worth a visit!

We were traveling through and found many parks in the area to be closed for the season. The KOA down the road recommended Grandpa’s Farm. It was a nice private park and we were able to get a spot in mid November, with water! It seemed they were also wrapping up for the season as the restrooms were closed. We had a nice site under the trees and the hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. Only downside was the road noise.

Grandpa is AMAZING! Happily giving people rides on his hay wagon. Clean park with lots to do. Very close together sites, dirty bathrooms, & extremely rude manager/front desk woman.
Nice place! Good price, pretty little campground, great game room for the kids. The bathhouse was a little sub-par, but adequate. This would have been a five-star rating, except for the bathhouse.
