A nice free dump station with potable water in the service area of the fairgrounds. Not in the paid camping area, but around behind it.
A little hard to find, but the latitude/longitude map marker is correct. Near the Poultry barn. There are restrooms nearby, didn’t use them, not sure of their condition. Recommend filtering the water.
The RV dump is directly across from the red FFA barn and the brick poultry barn in the maintenance yard. Pass the entrance for the arena/stadium and enter the maintenance yard gate or from the arena parking lot head towards the red barn and turn left into the maintenance yard. The dump is on the left.
Previous poster was accurate as to description of where dump is. No one asked us why we were there and several people waves. Used the water that was not right next to the dump. It was slow but maybe potable? Would definitely come here again.
Drive to back of fairgrounds and came thry gate by the red FFA barn. Another RV was ahead of us.
Pretty easy to find with a big sign once you turn in. Has 3 sewer ports and water faucet. No sign of portable or not though so we didn't take it. Some construction workers were working around but none seemed to care about our existence.
I guess it’s free if you don’t ask the office. Otherwise it’s $10.
We used the water close to the barn to fill up.
Make wide clock-wise turn to line up with dump station. Non-potable water and hose available. When at the dump you will be facing the exit for quick exit back to Lasalle. Photos posted show buildings inside gate so find the gate at southern end of LaSalle and enter going east.
Friendly, clean, dump free with stay. NOT free otherwise.
