There is not a dump station. The dirt site was a bit unlevel but spacious! The location was great to see what the Black Hills had to offer. We loved the area.

Being in the area out of season, we were glad to find a place open year-round. Arrived late, read the sign, found our site, setup, filled out the form, inserted cash, and dropped it in the metal post up front. Done. We saw the manager doing his round that same night but didn’t speak until the next morning.
We only planned to stay one night but the weather was perfect. It was too nice to leave. No cell service. Nothing. Just dry camping with the family for wonderful memories.
We saw maybe 10 other campers at the park. Effectively empty and just as quiet.
Outhouses were available but we didn’t use them.
I would absolutely love to stay here again.

This is a NF CG with vault toilets and potable water at limited locations throughout the park. The lake is nice and a short ride to the beach access. Some access to the lake can be had directly from the CG.
Hosts were nice and you can move your site if there are available first come first serve sites. Firewood can be purchased on site and can be delivered right to your site (a nice touch).
I was able to get internet with a booster on AT&T only in the early mornings before 7am. After that it was not usable even for a text in or out.

Great little campground. The host were ready to help in anyway they could. Unfortunately we could only stay one night. I have to work and with the Weboost ATT upload was only at a .67. Access pass is accepted. With it your nights stay is just $10. There was a little road noise but we were happy to land somewhere for the night in this area.

We were in Smokey loop (the first one to the right) and it was beautiful and quiet, but there was absolutely no cell signal at all on any of the four carriers.
It was pretty shady, but solar might work depending on your site.

This campground cost $5 per night. Thank you access pass. This is a great campsite. Picked a site that had full sum for most of the day. Spacious sites. Great view of the lake.

Whispering conifers, site is up high overlooking the lake, pit toilets and potable water nearby (no threads on spicket), level site, peaceful evenings around the fire ring (with only one or two generators in the distance (6AM - 11PM). Within 30 minutes of Mt. Rushmore National Memorial. Roads can be considered narrow, but helps to slow folks down a bit. Pit toilets could have used a service, but everything was operational.

Lots of options for the type of sites you would like to have. Unfortunately no cell service, at least with Verizion. Even with booster only got 1X service. Some of the sites would be usable if you need satellite service.
We really enjoyed our stay here, campground is clean and sites are spread out so you don’t feel like your neighbors are in your space. Probably the cleanest pit toilets I have ever seen. Water is available at several locations through the park. No electricity or sewer hookups or dump station. Lake is great for fishing and paddle boarding. We stayed 4 nights and may return on our way back home. Easy drive to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse.

Nice place. Quite and clean. Lake was very nice. Would stay here again. Potable water spickets do not have hose thread ends on them so you can not hook your hose up to them and fill fresh water tank. Had to cut end of my hose off and slip it over the spicket end to fill my fresh water tank.
