No electric or water, but plenty of shade, peace and quiet and a good base camp for playing in the Big Horns or carousing in Sheridan, WY. You are in real cowboy country here. Lots of cattle ranching nearby, cowboys on horseback tending cows, recreation galore in the Big Horns. It has it all!

There are no hookups here but we thoroughly enjoyed this campsite. There's a few spots with shade and we were able to get a pretty spacious spot. It was very empty on the weekdays (one other RV) and hardly busy on weekends (6 or so RVs). Payment is made on the honor system and you just drop in your money at the entrance. There's a flowing river right by the campsite. They have on site toilets but didn't smell great so we never used them. About 20 mins from Sheridan and 30 mins from bighorn forest. We dumped and filled up at Lazy R campground for $5.

Honor system pay, $6 in state, $11 out of state. Pit toilets, Creek running around the park. Finding it was a little unnerving - south on Gillette St. becomes a winding creekside road until you finally see a sign. Left over the bridge and down a short gravel lane.

Lovely spot with a trout stream running through it. Large sites, back in or pull through. Fresh water spigot. Toilets. Walked across the water on a suspension bridge that lead to town. Stopped for a drink at the Silver Spur Tavern. Very warm friendly place on a cold evening. There is a distant, frequent train in the night. Ear plugs did the trick.

On our way from Bozeman, Mt. to Rapid City SD. this was the PERFECT stopping point. A cute, quaint town. Not a lot open when we arrived. It is a super small town, so plan ahead! We did get our pick of spots at the park.
TIP - You can find coffee at The Dry Bean Coffee Shed on the way out of town. The owner is very nice and good coffee!

We went to stay there tonight (6/6/19) and it’s completely flooded out and closed down.
Beautiful Setting, lots of grass, a river that borders the park. Easy access for our 35' fifth wheel and good AT&T cell service. A little play ground for the kids. A bath house (I did not use it). There were several fishermen trying there luck. The sites were fairly level. Some of the sites the parking was very narrow. Large sites but the grass drops off by a foot or more. So there was not much room next to the RV, The grass had not been mode for several weeks so it was very long with lots of insect activity in the grass.
We road our bikes into town which is a very small town. We had lunch at one of the two salons in town, A very good meal. The few people we spoke with were all very friendly and helpful. The information center is small and has a nice little museum that has information about the Connor Battlefield.
We could hear a train in the back ground, but it was off in the distance and was not very loud.

We were glad Campendium had this park listed.
We'd just passed Sheridan when it started raining heavily and the winds were extremely gusty.
Paid $16 for out of state in Sept. 2019. Vault bathroom was very clean.
