The site consists of 20 camping and picnic sites nestled in an oxbow of the Tongue River in the shade of large cottonwoods. There are two restrooms, a playground, and horseshoe pits. Each camping and picnic site has a grill and table and two sites are ADA accessible. Connor offers a quiet, relaxing campsite, away from the hustle of the road in the peaceful shade of a river bottom. Community facilities are within a few blocks, and yet a visitor would never know it. Camping sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis, without reservations. Camping is seasonal. Connor Battlefield Campground camping is non-reservable; on a first-come, first-serve basis Site grounds open 24 hours. Site grounds are open year-round. Weather permitting, Restrooms and drinking water systems are closed Nov. 1

A pleasant little campground where the Tongue River encircles the campsites. It was quiet all night. You could hear the trains go by in the distance but it wasn't too loud.
This “campground” is a beautiful park right in town surrounded on three sides by the Tongue River. $21 overnight for non-residents. It has mature trees, a playground and thick green grass, picnic tables and fire rings. We saw many deer in the adjacent field in the morning. There is also a monument explaining the importance of the battle.
