Father and Son Antiques

Best vintage warehouse in the south. Hand down. Raleigh in general is an absolute gem in NC in terms of understated or underrated style. We stopped here by happenstance and stumbled upon Father and Sons as it had a small rack of sale clothing outside. We went inside to inquire if there was more and were escorted to the back of the warehouse which was like finding an Oasis in the desert. There, in this huge 3,000 sqft + warehouse were racks upon racks of some of the most beautiful vintage from 70s to 80s Armani to Escada that just made me swoon. Prices on these said designer pieces? Under $40. This treasure trove didn't stop here. We were then ushered upstairs after we left piles of our finds behind the register with the amazing staff. The entire second floor is full of small rooms and alcoves of vintage clothing. Each room has a different aesthetic because each room is a different vendor, hence the different style. Needless to say we found more and more. I still dream about all of the things that I DIDN'T buy at Father and Sons and I left with more than I could even carry. On top of all of this, the furniture is to die for, but that is a whole other shopping trip, one that I will have to save for another review in the future.
