Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 24, 2022The road was windy with a few low hanging branches but overall large rig friendly. About 20 minutes from town so plan accordingly. All sites are full hookup $36 for 30 amps. Great waterfront sites. The lake is nice but no swimming allowed. Rowboats, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, trolling motors only. No gas engines. Small playground and clean bathhouse. No reservations, first come first serve. We went on Memorial Day weekend 2018 and there were 4 spots still available all weekend. Overall a great place, the playground and campground isn’t very big. Hiking trails and boat rentals are a plus. Volleyball net setup, bring a ball if you want to play. Overall a very nice little hidden gem.

A beautiful place to camp. Staff was friendly. View was great. A 25 minute drive along a long and windy road had us regretting our decision to stay until we arrived and saw that it was worth the drive. Great place for kayaks and canoes but no swimming. No wifi or cell signal.

We were in one of the sites that was close to its neighbors but there are many others with good separation. Campground was clean and well maintained. The lake was very inviting but weather kept us off of it. For a taller camper the road from Pulaski to the park is problematic. We are careful about overhead obstacles but we still lost our tv antenna. once you're at the park this isn't a problem. The campground wifi was accessible from our site but v e r y slow and I have directional wifi antenna. Unless your cell provider has a signal (at&t didn't) consider this a no connectivity campground.

No laundry that I'm aware of, boat rentals, good fishing and 30-50 amp hookups with water and sewer. Off the beaten path and everyone is friendly.

We loved being in the water in our kayaks! The campground was very busy and noisy. The sites are too close to the neighbor for my liking.

Beautiful setting, right on a lake surrounded by lush greenery. It was not crowded at all while we were there. Full hook up. Terrible WiFi and virtually no cell signal, so if that’s important this isn’t the campground for you!

Traveled from Shenandoah NO and then onto twisting, curvy roads to Gatewood Campground Park and Reservoir. What a great find, with no “real” amenities but level sites, picnic tables, fire pit and waterfront. A hidden gem…wish we could stay longer but we will definitely be back. Host was super nice and accommodating
