Prophetstown State Park

We stayed at site 19 that was next to bathrooms and showers. They were very clean. About half the campground has electric and the other half had nothing. I don’t think any of the sites has water hook ups. There are water spigots around the campground. There is a dump station at the back of the park. The park is next to the Rock River and has a boat dock. I was told there is pike and walleye in the creek that flows into the Rock River. There is a park for the kids to play at the entrance to the campground. Not much for hiking trails but is a very pretty park and looks like it’s well taken care of.

We had a wonderful time at this delightful campground. The campground was clean and spacious, just right for our 19' travel trailer. There were many spaces for larger rigs also. The working farm was delightful and the water park was excellent. Wonderful bike trails and hiking trails and vistas across the prairie. Lots of history in the area. We highly recommend this park & campground and will be back again.
