“fisherman's pier and walkable neighborhood”
The Old Port is a district of Portland, Maine, known for its cobblestone streets, 19th century brick buildings and fishing piers. The district is filled with boutiques, restaurants and bars. Because of its reputation for nightlife, the Old Port overflows each weekend with revelers.
the old port is fantastic! tons of shops to get lost in during the day, and even more bars to get lost in at night (check out Bull Feeny's for good music, $3 Deweys for free popcorn, and Foreplay if you feel like getting weird)
also pat's pizza is amazing if you get double crust.
I loved it here! The cobblestone alleys, the cute little stores, and plenty of places to eat made for a fun time walking around! I only spent about two hours in Old Port but it was perfect for doing a little light browsing and some gelato!
Fun place to shop and lots of variety of food to eat. It's nice just to walk around here on a lovely day
