Arrived with family at 5:00pm on day booked. No one in office. Note on door said to call phone number. Called and left message. No response - ever. Were four other families waiting around in same situation. Talked to another family that was back from the night before in same situation - looking for someone to complain to. They are very efficient at charging your card, but don't think they ever actually have tenants. This is not a real site/cabin rental place. Total scam.
We were passing through and planned to stay one night but we ended up staying longer. We really liked this place. There's a lot to do here. Volleyball, horse shoes, playground, miniature golf, frisbee golf, pool, pool tables, game room and peddle carts (for ages 6+, adults can ride too). Sites are nice. Could be spaced a little bit more in some parts but other parts offered nice secluded spots. Showers were clean but took awhile to warm up. Grounds seemed very well kept. They have organized activities on Saturdays and were bummed we missed it. Also, wanted to note that we arrived very late, 10:15 p.m. We had no issues checking in. Only con- they stated heated pool- wasn't a heated pool. Other than that, it was unexpected fun campground.
30, 50, and I think also 20 amp. Some sites are full hookup. It's $30 per night, and if you're not staying there it's $30 to dump, so might as well stay the night. It's the same price.
Place is well layed out. Our site was flat and needed no leveling. Ton of rigs parked there year round. We stayed for 2 fall weeknights and it was very quiet. The pool looked nice and there is a store.

stayed 14 days from 5/15/21 - 5/29/21 in site 163. The strip of sites I was in was quieter than the other sections of the park, and while they are for the most part flat sites, they are not graded properly and have quite a bit of standing water after rain. It also caused ditches around the pull in area for the sites, which are not flat. They also seemed to have paved over the existing drives, which caused them to be elevated and they just put some gravel a few inches around to ramp up. Not a huge deal but you will definitely get some lean when leaving. It did look like they were addressing some of these areas towards the end of my visit. The roads in the area are also not in great shape (very bumpy and some pot holes), but they are not busy so you can take it slow.
Plenty of activities at the park (frisbee golf, pool, playground), and the store is nice and also has food and a small bar, ice cream, etc. Portage and Baraboo are both 20 minute drives or so. Nice brewery with outdoor seating near Baraboo; Devil's Lake park was very crowded and expensive to park but beautiful. Wisconsin Dell's not far and also Madison. Plenty of lakes and rivers nearby and other activities.
There's a cell tower right next to the park, and my ATT signal on Pepwave was blazing fast. TMobile was ok, and Verizon cell was solid.
Overall would stay again

I had passport America so first 4 days were half off. I asked the guy for an easy to back into space and he put me in spot 1 at entrance. The spot was tricky to back into there are two large trees on one side and bushes on other and directly across is a pretty large hole/dip. If nothing else I’m getting better at backing up. Spot was a little noisy as it’s at entrance by dumpsters but had my loop mostly to myself with bunny rabbits and squirrels. The showers left a bit to be desired but serviceable. Laundry seemed to be 1.50 to wash and another 1.50 to dry. Park is very hilly and loops are bumping and dirt surface. Good experience overall.

Stayed here for a couple weeks in early November, in no small part because it was the only park around offering full hookups at that time of year. We were happy with the site, location, and interactions with staff. It was nice and quiet with campers keeping to themselves and hunkering down for the colder weather to come. Cell/5G reception was great in whitetail run area.

since we have a big rig we were with the other big motorhomes. it was a little tight but Kevin has been driving for 15 years a bus so he did good if you’re a new I wouldn’t recommend this place.
it look like we were with residence but they were very quiet and nice to see one person.
we could tell that this would be a really nice place in the summer for family.
they had Wi-Fi that was good for our fire stick

This campground has a little of everything for all campers. There are smaller wooded sites for tents, seasonal site sections (a majority), full hookups and water/electric. They have a pool, and other activities (most have a minimal fee). Staff is friendly.
Do not rely on the internet.
A little pricey, but they have good activities.
