Esopus Meadow Lighthouse

The current Esopus Meadows light house was built in 1871 to warn mariners of the mud flats known as the Esopus Meadows.  After many years of neglect, a small, dedicated group of people formed the Save Esopus Lighthouse Commission to restore the light house to its former glory days.  Please click on links on the left side of the page to get information about the project, ways to help, past and present pictures and to get information about tours available to the public.
