“A secluded campground paradise”
Enjoy this secluded campground located on the south end of Flathead Lake in a mature conifer forest. Make Finley Point your base camp to enjoy the many activities in the area. It is located at the southern end of Flathead Lake. Fishing for lake Trout and Lake Superior Whitefish is excellent. There's hiking, swimming, and boating at the state park, along with golf, shopping, dining, entertainment and museums in nearby Polson. The elevation is 2,913 feet and includes 28 acres of land. Finley Point offers 18 campsites, 16 boat slips that are up to 25 feet long, and boat moorings. Bear resistant storage lockers are available. RV/trailer size is limited to 35 feet in length, and a joint state/tribal fishing license is needed for fishing at this park.

Very clean roomy campsites. Great view, this time of year lake is low but still quiet.

Lovely well maintained state park campground. RV sites have electricity; water is readily available at the primitive toilets (which are sparkling clean). The lakeside sites afford easy swim beach access, but also a bit more partying into the night (but overall very quiet). The upper loop is super quiet. The park is capacity controlled which meant that on a hot summer Saturday, it was busy but not at all mobbed. Very easy to stay away from other groups if that is what you want. Polson is a nice town with lots of dining options for a break from cooking. 90 minutes to West Glacier entrance and Going to the Sun Road.
Cell service (verizon) very widely across the park. It was mostly 2 bars of 4G/LTE, but sometimes more sometimes less.

We loved it here, the waterfront views were very peaceful and the aqua hues of the water / the dark blue mtn skyline were impressive to Floridians;)
We really only need electric from time to time, so this was nice that both site 9 & 13 had electric, water spigots are placed throughout the park to fill tanks, if needed. Super clean vault toilets. No dump station but there are locations close to town.
Brad at the entrance was very welcoming and informative on the area.
This state park is very well Maintained and worth the ride down a semi-bumpy paved road.
As for Wi-Fi, it was1 bar up at site 9 and 3 bars down at site 13 with Verizon. We never left the campground and would definitely come back to the lower loop again. Very lovely stay at Finley Lake State Park.

We Have A 43 Foot Fifth Wheel. Luckily We Scouted Out This Location Before Bringing Our Rv Down. The Road Down To The State Park Was Pretty Curvy, And There Was A Very Low Hanging Wire. I Don’t Think We Could’ve Gotten Under It. Also Once In The Park There Were Two Turns We Would Not Have Been Able To Make. So While This Is A Beautiful Site, Right On The Lake, It Is Not Appropriate For Rigs Over 40 Feet.

Just drove by this campground and seeing there weren’t any reviews wanted to note that we had 2 bars LTE on Verizon at the entrance. Absolutely gorgeous area, we’ll probably be back!

Stayed here 4 nights in June, 2019.
Entry to this state park campground next to Flathead Lake is 4 miles off Hwy 93, down a bit of a bumpy rural road through a residential area. Totally worth the effort, though, and doable for most any rig. For lakeside sites on the lower loop (#13-18), there is one wide hairpin turn at the bottom of a hill, then you have to drive through the boat launch/day use parking area to turn your rig around in order to be oriented correctly to back into the site. Hubby didn't have any trouble maneuvering our 42' 5th wheel around, but on a busier day it would have been more of a challenge.
Lower sites are truly lakeside, almost all 50' pads, have 30/50-amp electric, water available near bathroom, but no sewer or dump station. Conoco or KOA in Polson both have public dump stations, 20 mins away. Picnic tables & fire pits at all sites + additional picnic tables along boat launch/day use area. Boat launch is adjacent to campground and has overnight boat slips w/electricity and a boat sewage dump. Pit toilets are clean and serviced frequently. Staff was very friendly and often seen emptying trash and monitoring the facilities. Disabled-designated site (#18) is well paved with paths to bathroom & picnic area next to lake.
Views of the lake & surrounding area are spectacular. Small, rocky beach for swimming or launching SUP's/kayaks (no lifeguard). Can get very windy in the afternoons. We had 2-3 bars of Verizon LTE.
Highly recommend!

Nice location - we lucked out (without a reservation) and got a spot on the water. The campground is on a hillside so it’s a bit of a hike from the 1-11 sites. Little pricey at $34/day for power only. Also read about “swimmers itch” and Flathead Lake before you commit - we opted not to swim and just fished.
