Came to Happy Trails on our roadtrip right after seeing the arch. It's very quiet, minus the road noise, the people are friendly, the bathrooms are VERY clean, and there's free wifi. For what it is, it's pretty awesome!
Owner was amazing - very friendly and went out of her to way to help. We needed propane and were leaving before the park opened in the morning - we called her when we were ready and she came down to operate the tank. Sites were a good size and a number had mature trees. Our site had a view of the pond and was close to the small nature trail. We didn’t use any of the facilities but everything looked clean and well kept.

The website does not lie when it says this place has the cleanest restrooms in the state. The entire property was clean. There is a nice dog walk and in general nice scenery. It is easy access on and off the interstate 44. Late check in and out was accommodated. Courtney was a great host.

We stayed one night on our way cross-country. Late check-in was accommodated and we were taken to our site. The site itself was not very level. The picnic table are was lined with rotted logs that weren't set down evenly. We tripped on them constantly. One of the bath houses was closed near our site so we had a bit of a walk to the other one. The bathrooms and showers are secured with a code and were clean. There is a swimming pool, which the hostess told us we can swim in 24hrs/day. There's a dog walk, a small playground and a pond with benches to fish. It is right next to the highway so there is that noise level to consider. Our gravel site was pull-thru and had electric and water hookups, a firepit, picnic table and grill. We would stay here again. Very close to interstate 44.

Pros: quiet, close to where we needed to be, pretty park, excellent electric, water, and sewer hookups. Nice fire pit and picnic table. Well maintained and mowed. Fishing pond and walking trails. Gave us a park map and escorted us to our site. Big trash dumpster in a convenient location.
Cons: site was a little had to level front to back, had a big slope. No WiFi

We stayed here in Nov. 2020, and again April 2021. As of now, it's under new ownership. It needs lots of work. Entrance road is a mess. Camp roads were muddy and soft; almost caved in with the 34' class A. Full-timer residents are making a mess of the place. Highway noise was untenable. Maybe in a couple of years, if they can clean they place up and get a sound barrier for the road, we'd stay again. We've chosen Glenn Oaks [AKA Lamplight Lane RV Resort at Glen Oaks] for our next stay in this area.

The sites have no numbers that you can read when you are driving around the park, so I had to get out and go over to the electric post to find our site. There are no wifi repeaters, so you can get wifi if you sit in their office. Appeared to be a lot of full timers, or working people, but they seemed okay. On the positive side, they appear to be trying, so I have high hopes. They do call you back promptly, they had okay showers, the store is adorable. The price was right for an overnight. Let me say the pet walk is gorgeous too. Zero T-mobile coverage.

Nice, clean park easy to access from I44. Well maintained with friendly helpful staff. We were led to our site. Roads and parking pads are crushed stone. Roads easy to navigate with our 40 foot MH and toad. Large grassy sites, plenty of mature trees and a large pond. Nice dog walk area and a couple of wooded walking trails which I would have loved to try if we were here longer but we only stayed one night and it was raining. We were unable to access the WiFi. Weak T-mobile signal. We were in site 338. Very pleasant site facing the pond and we could watch the ducks, geese, and heron. We had trouble getting level, but I think if we had parked further back on our site we would have had more luck. There was some road noise, not enough to bother us but if you’re sensitive to it then it may be an issue. We would stay here again.

Cute park and easy to get to. Nice long pull through sites.
Wow, tight spaces but they are correct there are lots of trees. We liked it because it was close to the highway for the one night that we stayed.
