“yo, adrien!”
"The street looks just as it once did during 4am workouts, strolls with Adrian, and most recently, during Rocky and Paulie’s memorial tour of their old haunts in Rocky Balboa. The exterior of this small brickfront apartment and the surrounding neighborhood posed as Rocky’s digs (hey, only temporary) in the first two films of the series. Robert Plazek’s Travel Tip: “It’s difficult to comment on, but the day we visited 1818 Tusculum Street, we felt a little intimidated by a couple of residents and we hadn’t even turned the car off yet. As this is a residential area, we parked the car away from the apartment and took a few quick photos but without getting too close – like sitting on the steps. The apartment remains very true to its 70’s look. If you head towards the end of the street and look to your left you’ll see the spot where Frank Stallone sang as Rocky carried Adrian home after their wedding.” via Total Rocky Pls be respectful, and don't do anything creepy or illegal or stupid, since this is private property.
DO NOT drive down to this area of town. Very unsafe in broad daylight.
I was born and raised in Philadelphia and love the rocky movies. I finally got to see the house from part 1. I really strongly suggest to stay out of that area it’s very dangerous even in the day time.
This area is gentrifying HUGE. Go. Find Stock's and eat some poundcake. Eat local in Fishtown. 5.2.18 article Called FISHTOWN the hottest spot to live in the US right now.
