New Wave Cafe

Located in the heart of Queen Village, at 3rd and Catharine, this sunlit, newly renovated space is the ideal place to grab lunch with friends, enjoy dinner and imbibe late night at the bar. A fun, easy-going atmosphere and gourmet-quality cuisine are the standard at this neighborhood gem. Chef Evans Herbert has crafted New Wave’s diverse menu to include something for everyone; small plates for light appetites, deli-style sandwiches, fantastic burgers, a myriad of flatbread pizzas, delicious and unique salads, comfort-minded entrees, and indulgent desserts. New Wave Cafe has been mixing drinks and fun in Queen Village since 1985. Founded by Center City natives Nate Ross and brothers Sam and Aly Lynagh, the New Wave is a pioneer in the Philly gastropub trend which is sweeping Center City. In-the-know local folk and visitors alike have made New Wave their second home. Our bar features 17 taps and we proudly serve many from our local breweries including Yards, Victory, Troegs and Philadelphia Brewing.
