This park is a terraced park that overlooks I-71. So you do get the road noise in the front terraced long pull throughs. The terraced graveled pull throughs are all large with some being close to 80 ft. long and level. They have concrete patios with concrete tables and benches. There appears to be a lot of long term campers here. But some of the nicest long term RVs I have ever seen, so they do not distract from the campground. There is an office, store and outdoor pavilion area. With pet walk areas, small ponds and short walking trails around the property. They do limit pets to 2, but say that you can ask for permission for more than 2. Additional vehicles are $4. Wifi was strong and with a medium download speed. No cable but 20+ local channels from Kansas City. 10% off for vets and Good Sam.

Well, this is a hard review. First off a lot of rv’s here are fulltimers living here. We have stayed 4 different visits, and 3 of those I have had electrical issues. Low voltage or power surges. Was moved once and the spot we were put in had issues too. It’s not my fifthwheel because I have a progressive Industries EMS that’s hard wired. No problems in other RV parks. A little noises because the interstate runs right next to it. Once I called and got reservations and when I arrived 2 weeks later they didn’t have me down and accused me of not calling. I told her it was a man that I spoke to and she said there is no man that takes reservations. Haha. They had one spot left.
Other than that it’s ok. The other reviewer said it on I-71. That’s not correct, it’s I-49 and used to be US 71

We called four hours out and got a place. It’s a clean park and the residents are nice. It can be a bit noisy with I-49/US 71 right there but we were away from the road so it was great for overnight.
The big plus for us was there was a tornado warning while staying there and they had a storm shelter. They allowed our German Shepherd to go in with us. We would stay here again if for no other reason than it’s very convenient.

Can’t beat the amenities at $34 a night for full hookups. Conveniently located off of I49. Quiet and nice lots, most are shaded. Gravel sites, some with paved patio areas. Picnic tables, but no fire ring or grill. For an overnight stop, this place is ideal Only downside is that they do not take credit cards. Cash or checks only.

I stayed here for the holidays because it was close to my family, who live in Peculiar. It's well maintained and is expanding. It was clean and sites have concrete tables & benches. I thought the cost was a little high for the location and for limited amenities. The park was nearly full. The owners told me that the park is used by a lot of transient workers (nurses, pipeline workers, construction). But that said, the park was very quiet (except for the highway noise, which you get used to in a night or two) and clean. The few campers I saw were friendly and I never felt afraid to be there alone.
The only pull-through sites are on the highway side of the park and are terraced on the side of a hill. Access was easy from the highway and within the park. The site I was in was very unlevel. When I leveled my RV, the front wheels were off the ground so I had to add wood under the tires in addition to my leveling jacks. The biggest downside of this park is they do not take online reservations and only accept cash or checks. They do offer propane which was a relief since the Flying J down the road only sells propane Wednesday - Friday.

Overnight stay only. Not a campground to stay more than 1 day. Most sites are full time occupied. A few pull through sites for others but right on I-49 so very noisy. Sites crammed in, barely enough room for awning. Staff was very nice though and accommodating.

We stayed in a FHU pull through site. Large level sites. Lots of room between sites. New pavement through out. Owners are very helpful and making many improvements to the park. Great location for a stopover. Highly recommend.
