This park sits at the top of the hill and provides a beautiful view of the Ohio River and the city of Parkersburg, WV below. There's an archway at the entrance with the name of the park on it. It's on the National Register of Historic Places. There's informational signs throughout the park telling about it's history. There were seemingly nice restrooms there. The best thing is the amazing overlook that is easily accessible and a super short walk from the parking lot, making it elderly and disabled friendly. You can see the white gazebo from Point Park below where you take the Island Belle paddleboat to Blennerhassett Island. I would consider this a must do stop if going to Parkersburg!
