Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on October 25, 2020Park looks very nice. There is a 24 hour lit public walking trail around the pond in the park as well as Disc golf course and outdoor exercise equipment. Lots of ducks, geese and flying bugs. Small petting zoo on premises as well as paddle boats for rent. Rentals not offered when we visited. Did not use the restroom or shower facilities. Wood for sale was 4x4 blocks, which I’ve never seen firewood sold like that, but I’m sure it keeps the fires smaller.
Electric and Water only. Dump on-site.
As with most State parks, beware the park entrance fee - $6, non-resident.

Park is very nice. Looking forward to staying there again in the Spring. Definitely check the campground map, as there are sites that are better than others...

We just stayed one night (Wednesday) which gave us their mid-week daily rate of $17.50
This park was not busy at all (stayed May 30,2018), it has restrooms and a shower house. The best amenities, in our book, however, are the massive lake the park surrounds with a swimming beach, kayaks, paddle boats, canoes, and a trail that we biked the whole way around. We did see some other walking trails, but because of ran, we couldn’t do everything!
The staff here is nice, the hubs thought the showers were nice, but I opted to shower in our rig.
Our site was #30 and had partial hookups (everything but sewer).
T-Mobile cell service was VERY good!! Fast LTE the whole time. Download speed of 70, upload speed of 20. Great for digital nomads!
It was a wonderful stay! We’d love to come again :)

Stayed here June 22-24, 2019. The park is wonderful and was very clean. The kids enjoyed the playground and taking trips around the lake on the paved path. The website is not updated and does not mention at all the fact that the entire place is under renovation with mud everywhere, and poor drainage. There was rain the previous days and with all the standing water mosqitos were unbearable. The petting zoo and swim beach are both closed, which were two of the main attractions for us with younger kids. This should be clearly posted on the website when you make a reservation, but is not making for many suprised campers this year. The staff was friendly, the sites themselves were very nice with paved back-ins and lots of shade. Not every site had a fire pit though and water pressure was somewhat weak. We will definitely come back, but not until all the renovations are complete and the place is back in full operation. The rates aren’t bad if everything is working, but I feel they should be discounted until the place is back to full service.

We stayed one night. They had a trick or treat event and everyone decorated their sites. Our site was nice and we had plenty of room. The site pad was asphalt and sloped downward. Not terrible though. During the summer they have an open beach area and diving platform in the lake. There is also a petting zoo. They did have WiFi. I was able to connect to check email but wasn’t able to stream anything. There is also a disc golf course on site.

The county site gives great descriptions of the sites with pictures but sites seem smaller than their description. This campground is not very big- rig friendly with narrow roads and tight turns and lots of low hanging branches that raked my roof and sides. For a small camper it’s fine but for a bigger rigs you may want to reconsider. I bought a site online that was long enough and when I arrived it was obviously too small. I had to purchase a much larger site (67’ for a 35’ camper) and the tail hung off the pad. Due to cancellation policy I had to pay for both sites.
