“in the heart of downtown Oshkosh”
Gardina’s Wine Bar & Cafe opened in March of 2010, in a 100 year old building located in the heart of downtown, that many residents of Oshkosh know as the Wilson’s Music and Appliance Building. The front portion of the building on Main St is home to Gardina’s and the back half is home to McKnight & Carlson Wines. Both businesses are owned and operated by me, Julie Wolk and by John Carlson my brother, who spends much of his time operating McKnight & Carlson Wines in Appleton. The Cafés name was chosen in honor of our mother, whose maiden name was Gardina, and for our wonderful extended Gardina family who reside in Racine and Kenosha, and throughout various regions of Italy. Gardina’s strives to provide an enjoyable experience for everyone who visits us. We make all of our soups, quiches, dressings and sauces from scratch on a daily basis. We also have delicious nightly entrée specials that are created and executed by our very talented Chefs. In addition to our wonderful menu, we also offer an interesting and varied wine list, craft beer list, and a great selection of craft bourbons, single malt scotches and rare dessert wines available by the glass. Whether you’re meeting friends for lunch or dinner, clients for a business meeting, enjoying a romantic candlelit dinner, or having beer and pizza after the game, Gardina’s goal remains the same… to make sure everyone feels welcome, and to provide a wonderful experience with great food, and great service in a comfortable and elegant setting.
Quaint downtown spot for lunch.
