“the gator capital of the world!”
Get ready for down-home family fun at “The Alligator Capital of the World®” – Gatorland! There isn’t a better place to see alligators and crocodiles of all sizes, from babies, also known as grunts, to the 14-foot monsters that call our Breeding Marsh home. We even have the largest collection of extremely rare white leucistic alligators. But, Gatorland is more than just a gator park! Our free-flight aviary, petting zoo, one-of-a-kind animal shows, thrilling Screamin’ Gator Zip Line and new Stompin’ Gator Off-Road Adventure ensure your day will be chock-full of fun, smiles and special memories! Gatorland is also Florida’s leader in alligator safety and education since 1949®
I enjoyed this place. Many gators that you can feed and watch being fed.
This place is classic roadside Florida at it's purest form, from the awesome giant gatorhead entrance, to the fun crap you can buy in the giftshop. If you've never seen gators in person, absolutely worth a stop... and you can feed them!
Looking for an exciting outdoor adventure? Look no further than the Screamin’ Gator Zip Line at Gatorland in Florida! This thrilling zip line experience will take you on a journey along 1,200 feet of high-flying, heart-pounding fun from some of the best zip line towers in the world.
Standing over seven stories tall, these towers offer incredible views from high above the treetops – and you’ll even get to soar over some of the park’s star attractions, like Cuban and Nile crocodiles, before flying over the Alligator Breeding Marsh, complete with 130 giant alligators below!
We think a visit here is one of the best things to do in Orlando with kids!
I visited this place in the 1980’s as a kid and I remember it better than Disney World. I’m super excited to take my kids there when we visit Florida. I was blown away as a kid who loves animals and nature. I know my kids will love it too.
I LOVED Gatorland! I didn't know what to expect and assumed I would only see alligators, but, boy, was I surprised to find how much other wildlife there was to see and interact with. I went with my family (we all had a great time), and I think it would make a great corporate event. 10/10, would visit again!
July 2018 - This attraction was not what we expected. It's rather expensive and probably not the most exciting place to take teenagers. The funny gator show was good and we loved the birds....yeah, the ones you are not supposed to touch, LOL! We paid to Zip Line, but the weather had other plans. They were really good and quick to refund us. There are tons of gators, so if that's what you are looking for, you hit the jackpot. I enjoyed browsing through the gift shop, but again, it's a typical tourist attraction, so be prepared to pay for that.
AWESOME FUN. Too bad they started ziplining over the gator swamp...that RUINS the fun on the boardwalk. I usually enter, high tail it to the RIGHT....buy hot dogs from the "dog lady" and take them to the boardwalk out back and feed the gators...>SOOOO MUCH FUN and USED to be peaceful until the stupid Zip lines...then people just scream and it's not as nice. STILL A MUST MUST MUT see place in Orlando!
This is literally so far my favorite place in the entire world.
