The Pastures Campground

We stay ten days spanning two weekends. During that time there were three nights where the noise and yelling went on to midnight or later - nearly 2:00am one night with no action from management. I’m no prude but seriously people, some of us need our beauty sleep. People we talked to said it’s normally quiet but that was not my experience.

It is a beautiful location on the river. Sites and services were all good. Their twice weekly honey wagon service was appreciated and occur even when we were away. T Mobile service was very spotty all over the area but our Verizon router worked good. Bathrooms were spotless but small laundry was a challenge.

Most friendly CG we have been to. Everyone camping here was friendly. Sites are spacious and mostly level. CG is right on the CT River and has a small boat dock with public boat ramp on adjacent property.

Hookup was 30 amp with water and WiFi. Plenty of firewood there and CG Owner delivered it to our site!

Bonus right across the road from CG is Rollin’ Lobster Roll....Delicious :).

Friendly helpful seasonal campers. Site private because low volume of daily trade. Only stayed one night so no opportunity to use lovely beach faculties.
