1.5 mi down dirt road that was well maintained. Nice large parking area with easy turnaround. I parked next to the mowed area where there's a fire pit because there was nobody else here. Everything is flat and levelEverything is flat and level. Wildlife management rolled in a little while after I got here I asked if it was okay. They said yes. They confirmed it was free and they said almost nobody uses the area. Little bit of trash from other people in the fire pit. Lots of bugs because of the water right next to it. Build a fire. Grab the bug spray and a glass of whiskey. Enjoy the quiet!
Easy in and easy out. Plenty of room and no one else around.
Whenever i got to this site it was completely empty, it's basically just a big gravel area (didnt take any photos sorry). Anyways after i got out and looked around i noticed there were quite a few beer cans and liqour bottles lying around, which is part of the reason i believe its a party spot. There were also quite a few vehicles that were coming and going throughout the day and night (i was there on a weekend), it was strange because theyd drive in super slow and then just peel out fast. It wasnt until my second night i heard a couple police sirons and someone coming down the road that i got creeped out, they just stayed and hung out until the sirens faded and then slowly drove off, i left after that. Overall i was never bothered by anyone so your fine to stay but i personally wouldnt stay again.
