June 18th, 2017: RVer report confirms report from July 15, & info provided by US Fish & Wildlife Service. Government-owned campground has 15 sites; 6 are large sites, suitable for RV; two of these will accommodate 40-ft RVs. Tables, fire pits, vault toilets, bear-proof trash receptacle, interpretive walking trails, picnic shelter, boat launch. Level, unlighted, quiet, appears safe. Season: April - Oct, depending on snowfall & snow removal. No reservations, first come, first served. Maximum stay: 14 nights. 2015 rate: Donations requested.
