I'll admit, this was a quick plan B when our plans in Charleston were rained out but it was one of the highlights of our trip to the area. I (Dad) enjoyed the dozens of fully restored fire trucks and other equipment and the kids (7 and 4) enjoyed the large slide and fire pole and the interactive exhibits, especially the full sized fire truck cab simulator. The staff was very friendly, the kids were FREE and they even got to design customized fire patch stickers and got plastic Fire hats at the end of their visit. When we got home days later, I was excited to see that lessons they learned about fire safety were still with them and they were more proactive about wanting to implement a fire plan in our own home.
