There is also garbage cans the only drawback is NO cell service you have to go at least four miles to get cell service and then that would be only Verizon unless you go to Mount Ida and then you can get AT&T there and that's about 8 to 10 miles I'm not positive about the distance but a nice little town

Spring to get water. A place to swim in the spring to get clean. Bathroom and trash. Quiet and nice sites with fire rings and tables. Trail that you can go hiking on. The road to the camp was a single road, glad we did not see a car going the other way. No cell phone services. I am looking forward to going back.

Great place, lots of space, fire rings, creek, beautiful and quiet! I was nervous taking my old truck up there (narrow dirt road) in the rain, but it was no problem. An RV got stuck in the mud in one of the campsites, but there were rockier spots he could’ve chosen and probably would’ve been fine.

I am very new to the entire camping deal. I stayed the night before in the woods around Buschy Mountain Trail and it was very pleasant. The next day I hiked around and made my way to Little Missouri Falls which was gorgeous. I knew this was a free night so I drove over that Tuesday night and parked and set up camp. One other truck was there and they left about an hour later. I went to bed and woke up around 12 to another vehicle pulling up. I never looked out the tent and the next morning when i got up around 7:30 the vehicle was about 100 feet from my set up one site over. It was a tad strange. I began to pack up and they cranked up and left. I had my pistol, but never felt threatened. It just seemed a tad odd. Overall a good night and would no doubt stay again.

Nice little spot with a little dam and waterfall. There are 9 official spots and two parking places that you could park in overnight if everything was full. Most sites have fire pits, a grill, and a picnic table. You can watch both the sunrise and sunset. There is a crystal mine just up the dirt road.

This spot is perfect for tent or vans as it is relatively level with fire pits, fire grill and fire rings. The bugs were a bit annoying but what one expects camping. There’s no water, hookups or dump site so large class A or C RVs not recommended. This was quiet as no one running noisy generators. Most people there were rock hounds. Great proximity to Crystal Vista and paid mines.
Do watch for snakes as met a Blacktailed Rattle Snake. Cottonmouth are also in the area along with Black Rat Snakes.
Dirt road in is accessible by car or vans. May be muddy after a rain. Had to clean out the fire ring and campsite as unfortunately it was strewn with trash from some disrespectful people before us. Come on people leave it better than when you get there. There’s trash bins to dispose of your trash and bring a shovel and trash bags in case someone was not raised with respect. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES!

The campsite was clean and the restrooms had plenty of toilet paper. The trails had lots of crystals to find and the natural spring water was refreshing. The cramping spots were spread out and it was very quiet, even on the weekend! I would definitely come back to visit!
