Must do - have a tissue handy. This is a simple but extremely powerful memorial consisting primarily of a set of brass plaques with the text of soldier's, sailor's, marine's and airmen's letters home, through the ages. This combined with the nearby Lone Sailor and Medal of Honor plaques makes for a really touching memorial. I highly recommend spending some time in this simple little corner, overlooking the harbor where so much military history has been written!
