Tables and fire rings at most sites, and pit toilets available. Nothing special except that it's right on Cook Inlet with spectacular views and a busy beach launch site just down the road. Stayed here in early June, 2013.

It's a very basic campground with no hook-ups what so ever, and most of the spots are just small parking lot spaces. However, you are nestled between two looming cliffs with spectacular beachfront views of Cook Inlet. The area can be a bit busy, with an active boat launch down the parking lot. But the LTE from AT&T is strong.

Not much more than a gravel lot along the beach (and boat launch) lined with picnic tables and fire rings. But then again, what more do you need for camping on the beach? Lots of wind, and tons of dead fish on the beach at this time of the year, but otherwise did the job for an overnight location.

Sites are close but view great. Lots of fishing boats prior to lot. Dry camping. Lots of ATV noise.

We had planned on camping here for a few nights but once we pulled in, we drove the loop and pulled out.

First the smell. It smelled like a fish cannery. We even had our windows shut and the AC running.

All of the ocean view sites were taken at 11:00 am. The sites that were open were very close to each other and very short.

On a quiet week, this might be a nice play to stay if the smell was gone.

This was a great stop for a couple nights on our way to Homer. We are winding down on two months in Alaska and our best eagle sightings were here. It was easily accessible and had several big rig friendly sites. Strong ATT. $20/night at pay station. Camp host on site.

Stayed here in mid-September….no crowds; plenty of spots to choose from right on the beach. view across Cook Inlet is amazing! Road is a little rough, but doable with our van if we went slow. Fire pits, picnic tables at each site.

We camped here July 20, 2022.

This is a large camping area, parking lot style, with picnic tables, fire pits and pit toilets. There were very few campers here midweek so it was very quiet.

Awesome views across Cook Inlet! Lots and lots of eagles! Before the entrance to the camping area, there is an active boat launch area. Very entertaining to watch the "tractors" launch charter fishing boats.

Thank god the road down to the boat launch area is paved cause the rest of the way some 100 yards is nothing but a pothole..

Did a drive thru today on way back from homer spit. lots of spaces and not a ton of users.. guide shows some 100 spots and maybe 25 to so used..

a good number right on the beach were full but still plenty of space.. its between salmon runs so next week could be different.. there is a RV park on the turn on to Wayside Rd but continue down to bottom and go straight toward the end..

Be aware depending on time of year and time of day there could be a lot of activity at the launch with boats going or coming.. seem the earlyish morning is going out and around 12-2 coming in..

We stayed here for 3 days and loved the views of 4 volcanoes, walking on the beach and watching the boats and eagles! Level spots, first come first serve with fire pits and picnic tables
