The Book Barn Downtown

They own 3 buildings (plus outside displays) with used books. Whenever we come to CT we always visit at least two of the buildings.

I love books and I always come away with finding fill in books from authors I enjoy reading.

While there, I saw 3 or 4 families with children picking out books. The kids were carrying them out to their cars and that’s the best thing a parent can do for a child. Get them to read and learn.

Plenty of parking and if you got time, visit at least the barn store. Plan on spending hours if you want.

Niantic is a small town with a lot of fish restaurants.

If you love books, you will like this place. My daughter loved it. She bought 8 books for $45 (used, but in good condition). There are lots of used books of varying condition. It's well organized, but a bit dirty. Unique!
