“Home of a pesky poltergeist”
There's something strange in Gilford, New Hampshire and lucky for us, it was captured on camera. A new security video taken in the Ellacoya Country Store appears to show a glass lid scoot through the air on its own, smashing to the floor and frightening workers. After capturing the footage, the owners of the general store wasted no time sending the footage to WMUR-TV, who posted the video to their YouTube channel on March 10th. Since then, the clip has attracted so much online attention that numerous paranormal investigators have offered their services free of charge. The verdict? Ellacoya Country Store is haunted by a poltergeist. Heidi Boyd, an employee who was working in an adjoining room, heard the glass smash and was shocked at what she found. “I walked around and looked and I was on the floor. It took several minutes to set in [and it's] still freaking me out”, she told WMUR-TV. So, is there really a troublemaking ghost in the Ellacoya Country store? You'll just have to visit and decide for yourself...
