Just a short stroll brings you to the historic downtown of Newburyport, where you will find a wonderful assortment of restaurants, charming shops, art galleries, and our outstanding Performing Arts Center.  For nature lovers, we are on the river and 3 miles to the ocean and the Plum Island National Bird and Wildlife Refuge.  A hundred yards away is a boat and kayak launch.  Bring or rent a bike for a day at the beach, and use our beach chairs. Less than an hour drive from Boston and Logan airport, we are centrally located - an easy drive north to both the New Hampshire and Maine coasts and Salem, Gloucester and Rockport to the south.  Come stay with us and you will understand why Newburyport is one of New England's best kept secrets!
