“Eccentric residential building”
Originally named the Beekman Tower, 8 Spruce Street tower is a 76 story tall, skyscraper overlooking the Manhattan skyline in New York City. It's the 12th tallest residential tower in the world, and the second tallest in the Western Hemisphere, at 870 feet. The building was designed by world famous architect Frank Gehry and developed by Forest City Ratner. It houses 898 apartments, and even a school. Thanks to its eccentric design, the tower has become a favorite destination for tourists visiting the city. Recently, an image of Han Solo Photoshopped onto the side of the building has been making the rounds on the internet, unfortunately it's only a hoax.
