“Try the G&T”
Simon Clementi is an eclectic entrepreneur, traveler, passionate about cooking and mixology, search for raw materials and new adventures. So it was that a 10 years ago opened in Rome in Ponte Milvio a square at that time still far from meeting the trendy and fashionable today, a very small room. It was called Jarro XIV and proposed, in a space to put it mildly reduced, aperitifs, cocktails, and a selection of wines coming from South America, California, New Zealand. Calling a mixologist, Edgardo Fontana, to create cutting-edge cocktails then be combined with equally innovative pintxos, shares with him the passion for the search for the product and the creation of new, surprising blends. On top of being an awesome restaurant, the establishment can also lay claim to part of the "best gin and tonic" in the city title. Their riff is relatively simple: mint, lime, and fresh sugarcane to the already added gin and tonic.
