“everyone loves fun at the pier”
The shops and restaurants and historic ambiance have made this renovated port one of Manhattan's most visited spots.
The seaport got a much-needed restoration after getting pretty destroyed during Hurricane Sandy. It's a kitschy little tourist trap, with lots of small shops. The nearby Seaport Museum isn't anything to write home about. One cool thing is they show movies on big outdoor screens. Definitely a place to go to people-watch.
