Mullets Campground

Owner is nice. He is not onsite, but will come onsite if you call him.
Great view of the OH River.
RR looks active, but I have yet to see a train.
Looks sketchy, but you may be the only one here. It is quiet and safe.
Hookups leave something to be desired:
Water - see picture. I guess it is to prevent freezing.
Electric - they work and are grounded.
Sewer - I need a 2nd hose, and I need a way to connect my hose to their hose. See picture.
$40/night, $200/week
Use the long/lat coordinates in Campendium to find the almost hidden driveway.
No laundry room. No public restroom. No dump station. All sites are “Full Hookups”.
There are Restaurant's, Walmart, about anything you want in the town just 3 miles away.

UPDATE:
Trains do go by, quietly, at 10 mph or slower speeds. Louder than any of the trains are the tugboat engines on the OH River. Should give you an idea of how noisy the trains are.

Mark Mullet bought this campground 2 years ago, and is wanting to improve the place.
Mark went to the hardware store, and got an adapter to make a better connection to the sewer. It is leak free, and works nicely now.
The views of the river are very good here. There are other parks up and down the river, we should be back to this one if we are in the area.
