“Kampgrounds of America”
A stay at this KOA puts you right in the heart of Lancaster County's famed Amish Country. Come and enjoy the campground's panoramic 10-mile view of the beautiful countryside and the relaxing atmosphere. Choose from Deluxe Cabins, spacious pull thrus, level terraced sites, and wooded sites. An afternoon outing will feel like a charm-filled trip through time. Known as "The Quiet One," with few amenities (NO POOL), many visitors make their base camp here for nearby attractions. These include the village of Intercourse, American Music Theatre, Sight & Sound Theatres, Lancaster Central Market, Shady Maple Smorgasbord, Yoder's Restaurant & Buffet and the Rockvale Outlets. Stop by the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, and then climb aboard for a train ride with Strasburg Rail Road. Pennsylvania Dutch heritage comes to life at Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum. Hershey's Chocolate World is about an hour away. Max pull thru: 90 feet.

There's plenty of wide open, well-manicured lawns and level sites, all with an awesome view of the Lancaster Valley area. This campground is best-suited for adults who want a convenient location to stay while they shop, dine and visit Amish country, all without the noise of a park that has a pool, activities and kids. The only thing we did not like is that the WiFi (which was actually decent) was only available between 9AM and 9PM...otherwise they turn it off.
This campground just joined the KOA network on 8.10.15 and I hope it doesn't lose it's local charm. We really enjoyed our visit and will certainly be going back again.
I know it was just before Memorial day but that price was not commensurate with almost useless WIFI and bathroom showers that required you to press the button to get water over and over again with no way to adjust the temperature. In the past I have always been welcomed in a very friendly manner at KOA sites. I understand they are new at the KOA program bit it just wasn't a warm welcome. Clean it was.

Had a great time at KOA New Holland. Arrived at dusk and greeted by a wonderful couple. Bought some firewood and given easy directions and tips for backing in since this was our 2nd trip. The host came by our site 30 minutes later to make sure we were okay. Used the uni-sex shower and it is a navy type shower but large. Bathrooms are a little dated but clean. I used my own shower on Day 2.
The views were stunning and close enough for RV show in Hershey and plenty of other activities. I would book there again.
WiFi is email only no streaming but no big deal my mifi did well enough.

Really offers nothing for the price. Store is not a store had a few items but apparently it’s a project for the new management. Sites are small some are poorly marked had a tough time finding ours. Internet not to good. No trash pick up. There are many places that offer much more for less money. Not for kids there is really nothing to do for them.

This is a very nice and quiet campground in the heart of the Pennsylvania Amish Community. Our site was somewhat small, but it worked and we were able to fit our class C, trailer, and motorcycle. We were in the shaded section and never had to open our awning. This is a great campground if you’re looking for a pretty and peaceful get-away.

I stayed at the Lancaster/New Holland KOA Journey campground for about 6 weeks. My first time at this campground, I originally planned on staying for 1 month but was fortunate to be able to extend my stay due to a cancellation. I'm a traveling full-time RVer and have stayed at numerous campgrounds in the US, and this one is definitely at the top of my list! Here's why... The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and serene - rolling hills, farmland, amazing sunrises/sunsets, and Amish charm. The views from the campsites overlooking the valley are breathtaking! The campground itself is very-well maintained. Water, sewer, and electric were all in good order and reliable. I was there when the remnants of hurricane Ida rolled through, and the very next morning there was a team of staff clearing leaves, rocks, tree branches, etc. By that afternoon, Labor Day vacationers would've never known there was a storm. The dumpsters are located far enough away from campsites and are emptied regularly long before they overflow. Campers are predominantly there for vacations and weekend getaways... lots of evening campfires, grilling, etc., and everyone was very respectful of the other campers. Campsites are quickly cleaned between bookings. The staff and owner of the campground are responsive, incredibly helpful, and happy. There's a great vibe at this campground, and I'm grateful I got to experience it!

I traveled solo across the country for three months and stayed here in late June for 5 nights and couldn't have been happier. I had a site tucked into the woods which afforded some privacy and a place for me and my three dogs to feel safe. The entire campground and my site were very clean. I was able to build a nice campfire and relax. Even though my site didn't have the views of the more open sites when walking the dogs around the campground I enjoyed the beautiful views and was able to take many pictures of the valley from various vantage points. The staff was helpful and efficient. I only wish I had made plans to stay longer! This KOA isn't located in the heart of this particular area of the Amish country but that just meant that after experiencing the crowds and extremely busy traffic you can escape to a quieter place at the end of the day. I highly recommend this KOA.

Lots of different site options. We chose a nice shady spot. Most spots have plenty of space between. Beautiful view. Well kept. Quiet, which we like. Had a little fenced in dog run.

Lancaster KOA is a great place to stay when in PA Amish Country. The staff is very friendly. Amenities are great. WiFi worked great for us (we were right by the office), bathrooms/shower suites were very clean and warm, cable was good but we don't camp to watch TV. I would definitely recommend it and we'll book here again if we come back up. We were in site 10 right by the office and bathhouse. I like watching people come and go. TIP: visit the Amish bakery across the street-Fri/Sat
