The staff is great, constantly cleaning and improving the campground, there's a nice pool, a lake, rec hall, playgrounds, and game room. Sites are somewhat close in certain spots, but arranged so you don't feel like your neighbors are on top of you. There's only one shower house, and from the first site we stayed at, it was quite a hike. But at least it was clean and well kept. There is free wifi, but it can be spotty at times, especially when camp is full.
Easy drive to Little Egg Harbor and points on the Jersey Shore, Wharton State Forest, and hiking and biking areas. We spent nearly a month here and would happily go back.

First off no longer accepts Passport America. This is a campground full of full timers, very little transient population. Sites are loaded with peoples junque and looks messy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The site was pull through and despite big ruts from recent rains was fairly level. The laundry functions, machines $2 a load, no table for folding laundry. No vending machines for supplies or change machines. Water and electric only.
Fire pit and picnic table no shade at my site #304. The lake is pretty. Was in the right place for a stopover to get some work done.

What a nice place! Peaceful, quiet and nature all around. It is a close drive to the Jersey shore. Beautiful lake that you can actually swim in. Separate pool. It looked nice, but it was too cold for us to swim.
LOTS of trees! If you have satellite tv, you will probably not be able to receive it. They offer free cable.
The campground was clean. Grass sites that were fairly level. Wi-fi was very good! This is rare.
The night sky is amazing, full of stars. We will return next year for sure!

We had so much fun at the campsite, the kids loved the pool, playground and even the lake they called (beach). The only downside is the tent area we are in is very close to RV and in between of RV's, the person across to us not sure if she's an employee or owner or just somebody who own an rv, approach us and told us it's quiet time we have toddlers who are having fun and enjoying the outdoor but it feels like we are in the library, it feels like she is watching us from the time we got there until 12am because she was sitting in her front deck of her rv, and we have to tell oir toddlers to calm down and be quiet. It was a really awkward stay. And if you are planning to camp there make sure to spray strong tick and bug repellent. I found couple ticks sticking to my 4 year old.
