“A primitive free use area”
Located only a half mile from Lake Metigoshe State Park, Little Metigoshe State Recreation Area is a free use area. Visitors can enjoy the sand volleyball court, picnic and grilling area, and fishing dock. Vault toilet facilities and free parking. During the winter, this is also a lake access point for ice fisherman. General Information: Free entrance No camping or overnight parking No facilities available on site Vault toilet available on site Location: Located just 1/2 mile west of Lake Metigoshe State Park on the Lake Loop Drive.
