Foamhenge is a full-size replica of Stonehenge made entirely out of styrofoam in Natural Bridge, Virginia. The structure was created by Mark Cline of Enchanted Castle Studio in 2004, with the pieces in astronomically correct positions. Cline has described Foamhenge as his greatest achievement.

oh man- I was just there on July 4th and it was open and great! This is bad news!
I was there on July 13th, it was still up and standing! You will not see it right from the road...turn in at the white fence, park, then you have to walk up a little hill. Saw several other people there when I stopped and we all said "Well this is a lot cooler than I thought it would be!" Worth the stop!
THIS PLACE IS CLOSED.
If you aren't paying attention for the white fence entrance you will drive right past it. June 2014 the gate was open and we were able to park in the field at the bottom of the hill. One of the best stops we had and totally worth the trip. Good luck finding this hidden gem!

Stopped and worth it! Gate locked but there's a path up to it.
Loved stopping here! It was technically closed, but a short hop over the fence and a climb up the muddy red hill just made for more adventure (note: if you own it, please don't get upset that I climbed your fence...). Had the whole place to myself and laughed out loud at the signs. Thanks, Mark Cline!
