Friends O' Mine Campground & Cabins

We arrived about an hour after they’d had a downpour and it was muddy. The roads are dirt as are the campsites, although the sites were half gravel. We arrived after the office closed and had to go behind it to the trailer to get the man to check us in. He was friendly and helpful, even driving to our site and helping us back our 36 ft. 5th wheel into a spot on the waterfront of the fishing pond in the dark. The campground is right off a state highway so there was some road noise but not too bad. The hookups were easily accessible but we did not use any of the other amenities. All in all it was an ok place that was convenient to what we needed. Would stay again if we had to.

This was close to the road so road noise was the biggest problem. Right up there with that was how closely packed the campsites are. Other than that it was very peaceful as far as noise is concerned. Campers were all well behaved. ATT had 5g service and 3 bars of LTE for Verizon. Their WiFi was excellent. Path around the grounds was beautiful and they have lots of amenities. Very well kept grounds. I work from the camper so even though checkout was 11 and our site was booked that night they let us move to an empty one for free as long as we were just parked not hooked to water or electric. So parked for free till 4:30. Extremely accommodating!

The campground hosts are all very friendly. The campground seems to offer a lot for families, but we didn’t utilize any of these. We stayed for an overnight stay on our way home from the smoky mountains. The campground is right off a busy, noisy highway. Campsites seem too close together. We were in a pull through site which are ‘buddy sites’, which I didn’t care for. When I can down my rv steps, I was practically in the next campsite. We were happy to only have one night there.

My family and I just started full time travel.This is are first campground and it has been so great! The owners and staff here are the best so nice and friendly very welcoming they work very hard to keep the place clean and maintained the have there wifi her is real good we used T-mobile here and had 5bars great speeds there's a big pond fully stocked with huge bass and some of the biggest bluegill. The showers are great lots of pressure and very hot! So much to do around here been here for a month never ran out of thing to do and see.Thank you guys for an amazing family friendly safe stay!we will come back every time we are in the area!
