Bulltown Campground is a USCOE (Corp of Engineers) lake campground. There are 6 loops for camping. A&B loops are in the woods away from the lake. C&D are close to and on the lake. Those loops allow pets.
The last two loops E&F do not allow pets but are mostly on the lake. Between C, D, E, and F are bays of the lake. Shower houses are kept very clean and located about every other loop.
Most sites on C, D, E &F have full hookups available I believe all sites have electric. Just about any length rig can be accommodated at many of the sites. Very few pull throughs. The internal roads are all paved.
There is pay WiFi in the campground. The WiFi equipment is very good but the network can be very finicky while trying to keep a connection. The pay arrangement is strictly pay per device. Use of cell systems like WiFi Ranger or Hot Spots is hotly discouraged and can result in service cancellation. Hopefully someday it will become more friendly to modern technology and go to a metered usage base. Cell service is very weak but usable at various spots. A cell booster and good antenna make a big difference.
The lake is 968 acres with a warm water fishery. The horsepower is unlimited but most smaller arms and the camp area are no-wake zones. There is a developed swimming area outside the campground. Two concrete boat ramps are available.

Nice campground and bathrooms. The waterfront sites are amazing - you can swim right from your site - but most of those only have electricity. There are a few with water and electric on the waterfront. I only gave it four stars because there is no cell service for ATT and the WiFi costs extra and is spotty.

Fairly easy access - 13 miles from Hwy 19. Nearest food is at the Hwy 19 exit. Some sites are on the lake, but fairly close together. There are a few shade trees but mostly in the sun. Check-in was easy, stop at entry station for hang tag and park info. Nice laundry facility on loop D. Most sites are full hook-up with easy access to 50 amp service, water and sewer. Site surface is gravel, our site was almost level, most other sites look close to level. Sites are very close together. There was enough room for an RV and 2 cars at our site. Loops D and E are no pets loops. This is a boater's campground, there are mooring posts behind the lake front sites. .
As usual, park gets busy on weekends, filled almost to capacity mostly with boaters. Host gave us a hiking trails map, but all trails are overgrown, not marked except trailhead and unusable.
No cell service with AT&T and no HDTV channels. Park wifi is $7/day but didn't work in Loop E. We couldnt even get a radio station. If you don't care about connectivity or being on top of your neighbor this is for you. If you do, stay away from Bulltown Campground.

I don’t recommend D01 Campsites because of the sewer smell. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
