“"The Spirits are Inn!"”
The Shanley Hotel, a former bordello nestled in the Shawangunk Mountains of Ulster County, New York, has quickly gained a reputation for being one of the most haunted hotels in the state. With reports of roaming phantoms, disembodied voices, mysterious cold spots, and even sightings of a "ghost cat", the managers have deemed the building so terrifying that no one under 16 years of age is permitted to stay the night.
As one ghost hunter put it, "just because you rent a room does not necessarily mean you'll end up sleeping here!"
Last year, the famously haunted hotel even captured video of a ghost cat on camera, stirring some intriguing conversation about whether or not our pets can return from the great beyond.
As they say, "There are many hauntings that are said to occur at the haunted Shanley Hotel. Many of the hauntings seem to be associated with James Shanley and the family that resided with him at the hotel while it was under his operation. It is said that a man that fits his description wanders around the establishment in the form of a misty apparition. A woman can be heard mourning and it is likely that this is Beatrice crying over the loss of her three children and sister. A woman in a beautiful Victorian style dress can be observed on occasion. Various scents can be experienced in and around the Shanley Hotel for which no explanation can be uncovered. These scents include perfume, the smell of burning pipe tobacco, and even food!" -Roadtrippers

How much is this
This place looks like a dump! Why would anyone want to stay here in the first place? I'd be more afraid of it collapsing in on me in high winds than any ghosts that might be lurking around.
This hotel has just changed ownership! the new number is 845-217-3112, and the new website is https://www.thehauntedshanleyhotel.com/
Here's the website which lists the room rates, etc:
what are the room rates? states tour rates- not room rates unless full tour includes your room?
Been here several times and something ghostly always happens. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. Can't guarantee that you'll get the whole experience on your first trip, but it's totally worth it. P.S. Patrick Gent is a miserable person who shouldn't review anything. Ignore him.
Beautiful i cant wait to come stay!
I'd love to live there till I pass
LMAO @ "mysterious cold spots" !! Well, it's old and it's probably not insulated so yeah, cold spots. Mysterious? Give me a break.
