Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on May 25, 2024This is a county run park, it’s very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful! There is 355 acres of rolling hills full of oak trees, pines ect... There is a abundance of wildlife in the park. You will see deer, turkey, heron, chipmunks, hawks and I’m sure there are cougars lurking... There is also a huge dog park right across the street.

This is a decent clean county park that is well taken care of
The good:
- A variety of sites and some have 30amp power.
- Quiet and clean
- Sites are spread out
- Good trails for exploring
- The staff is great and proud of what they’ve done with this county park.
The bad:
- Site 4E is not at all level and we were unable to completely level the camper
- Access to our site was difficult to back our larger trailer into.

Spent a Friday & Saturday night in mid-May at this immaculately groomed county park - nice trails, wide open spaces. Basically empty except for campers during our stay. The rv sites were okay, site 14e was on a hillside: leveled up 6 inches on one side. We arrived looking for the water sources on the park map: two were inoperable, the single working faucet required us to fill up our six gallon jug, no hose attachments. No dump station on site. Vault toilets were well-worn but stocked and clean. Showers were locked up.
However, the park is regularly patrolled, quiet at night and looks to be mainly a locals/family hangout. Good wi-fi coverage. For us, Mukwonago Park was on the way to somewhere else and a good spot to layover for a day.
