Ozark RV Park and Cabins

We like the music of the area and its just a short walk to the Ozark Folk Center State Park. Lots of chances to join a jam or just set and listen. We come twice a year and spend a month each time. The sites are easy to get into but it is an RV park so you will probably meet your neighbors.

We needed a couple of nights passing through here and it was perfect just for that. Mountain View is the Folk Music Capital of the World, so you’ll hear music playing all over the campground which makes this place unique. Not much else going on in this town. The owner was extremely nice and neighbors were too. We stayed in site 71 which was in the section up front near the road... these sites are pretty tight and packed in. Our rig I think was too long for the sites in the back. There were nice sites in the trees up on a hill. Super peaceful in this campground. Didn’t use any amenities, but they had cabins, laundry and a decent dog park.

Beautifully nestled in tall trees, this is a perfect location to experience the fun, beauty, friendliness and peace in Mountain View. The park offers cleanliness and care. The owners, Donna and Mark, are such fun, nice accommodating people. There is a dog park on site, laundry room, bathhouse, picking shed and walking access to the Ozark Folk Center. Town is a stones throw away. We camped at Ozark RV Park in a 34’ Motorhome, site 12.

We stayed with an Airstream caravan and had such a good time. The Pickin’ Shed was used for music provided by local talented musicians and was just spectacular. Also, the fire pit was put to good use and the evenings (after warm days) were perfect for outdoor activities. Really clean bath house, lots of green grass & trees, hookups- nothing missing!
Donna and Mark, the campground owners were so friendly and are lovely people. We just wish that we lived closer so we could visit again.

I was there this weekend for the Folk Festival. I stayed at Ozark RV Park and Cabins in one of the cabins. It was clean, staff were all very nice and met neighboring guests who were all very pleasant. Visiting the folk center was a short walk and I had a great chicken salad sandwich and homemade scone from the bakery in the folk center. Beautiful place in Arkansas to visit.
