Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on July 16, 2023We stayed at Mt Pocono Campground for 2 months in a 41 foot motorhome. This campground is big rig friendly. This is a very family-oriented campground and they even made us feel like family. They have sites in the woods and some in an open area where we were for the two months. The pool is a good size. They have a DJ there on Friday night, Saturday at the pool with games for the family and Saturday night. They have a dog park that is a nice size and is pea gravel. At first I was not sure about this but it made for a clean dog run. Verizon has service but is slow. Campground has WiFi with good reception but not allowed to stream movies. If you need anything, just ask Debbie and she will try to accommodate your request. The pricing was very good for the monthly rate and even better for seasonal. We will definitely come back when we visit family. We are leaving tomorrow and it feels like we are leaving home. Thank you Debbie and your staff for being a great host.

This is a privately owned and well maintained campground in quiet location but still close to restaurants and stores. There’s a lot of seasonal campers there but that’s not a big deal. There’s limited space for larger units but they are pull through. We have a 40’ motor home and had no problems getting in or out. Keep in mind that you are in the mountains and they have done the best you could expect on leveling the sites. Smaller units that can shim their levelers will be good to go but large, heavy units that can not shim will probably not get level but having said that we were able to get close enough to be acceptable. We would recommend this campground to anyone. I should add that I don’t remember exactly how many bars we had on cellular but I do know that we had no problem with communication.

Lots of activities and nice pool and nature trail. Loved the little camp store.
Big rig friendly (a few spots are anyway). HH28 fit my 40’ fifth wheel.
Internet was not strong enough to consistently work on (if you’re a traveler who works remotely), so hotspots were necessary. Cell service was decent on Verizon and ATT.
Kind of a party vibe on the weekends, which didn’t bother me at all, but if you mind loud music, it may not be for you.
I would definitely stay again.

Mt. Pocono Campground in the Poconos, Pennsylvania is a very active and fun vacation vacation destination! There are lots of amenities for every family member and the staff is friendly and welcoming. There is a huge swimming pool and a toddler’s pool. There is an on-site store with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The game room has pool tables, ping pong, arcade games, library, gym, and so much more! The location is lovely and you are surrounded by the forests of the Poconos. The campground is adjacent to a nature preserve which has beautiful hikes, a river, and lake. The park has FHU 30/50 amp sites with gravel sites. We have really enjoyed our stay here. 👍🏻😉

They have tons of activity on the weekend we arrived on a Saturday. We were only staying overnight so we did not participate and did not have kids with us. Lots of teenage kids running around being pretty good. Massive flood Saturday night and the staff got right on the issues started fixing the roads around the campers early in the morning.
