“kayak fun for all ages”
Canoeing and kayaking in Acadia is sometimes at its best on misty or chance of showers days. And on many days when all the harbors are fogged in; the sun is shining on Long Pond and other lakes. We rent top quality Old Town Canoes Kayaks and Riot Kayaks. These boats are safe, stable and fun for all ages. And as always your pets welcome. Since we are conveniently located at the north end of Long Pond, the largest lake in the Park, there is no need to transport a canoe or kayak atop your car. You simply have to put the canoe into the water and paddle on. We suggest that you bring: sunscreen, bathing suit, box lunch or snacks, and your camera.Rates include paddles, U.S.C.G. approved life jackets, map and instructions. For your safety, we reserve the right to limit the number of persons in each canoe.
