Yes, it's touristy and cheesy now, but it's also got a ton of really awesome history! If you want to stop by but avoid the crowds, hit it up in the morning before everyone else gets there :)
Awesome place, cool shops and great atmosphere
Very touristy and lots of restaurant chains (Ghirardelli, Bubba Gump, etc.) and lots of tourist souvenir shops. BUT it's a very cute walkway and is a bit of a blast from the past if you focus on the architecture.
Definitely a tourist spot, but if you can appreciate the history it's still a cool place to visit.
